Omeed, General Manager
Originally from White Plains, Omeed began his career in consulting, specializing in change management and helping organizations improve their workflow. Today, he’s excited to bring that experience to help elevate Westchester Gentle Dentistry so that our team can be more efficient when creating lasting smiles through gentle and compassionate dental care. He studied at Boston College for his undergraduate degree before attending UCLA Anderson School of Management for his master’s degree. Omeed loves ensuring patients receive the highest quality dentistry possible, whether that’s through the latest technology, better systems, or small details that make their visits more comfortable and personalized. Outside of work, he enjoys being with his wife and their Maltese named Elsa. He’s also a big New York Rangers fan and loves catching a game when he can.
Angela, Office Administrator
Angela brings over a decade of dental experience to our team. A University at Albany graduate, she thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys meeting people. Outside of work, Angela is an adventurous spirit who balances her quiet demeanor with exciting pursuits like skydiving and exploring new hiking trails during her travels. Of course, her favorite way to spend her time is hanging out with her husband and two children.
Jennifer, Front Desk
Hailing from Stamford, Jennifer has had the opportunity to work with both general dentists and orthodontists over the course of a career that spans more than a decade. She has experience supporting adults and children alike; she loves being able to be a part of each patient’s journey and getting to see the joy that comes with transforming their smile. Outside of work, she’s a very family-oriented person who is kept busy by her two wonderful sons. She enjoys staying active, and she hopes to travel more in the future.
Amanda, Dental Assistant
Amanda says that the best part of her job is getting to work with a great team while helping others in countless ways. Hailing from Yonkers, Amanda enjoys an active lifestyle filled with outdoor sports and traveling. Beyond dentistry, she takes pride in her exceptional cooking skills.
Genesis, Dental Assistant
Genesis is the latest addition to our Westchester Gentle Dentistry family. Her career started at a dental office in Brooklyn in 2022. The more she learned, the more her interest in dentistry grew. Eventually, she decided to attend the Dental Auxiliary Training Center at Ninth Dental Association, where she earned her dental assisting degree. Today, her favorite part of her career is helping dentists transform smiles! Genesis loves spending time with her family, especially her parents, who are her support system. In her free time, she enjoys painting and photography, and she’s excellent at remaining calm in stressful situations.
Julissa, Dental Assistant
Originating from Port Chester, Julissa loves being able to be part of a team that helps individuals overcome their fear of dentistry. Seeing how patients regain their confidence after receiving treatment is very rewarding for her. She attended Westchester Community College to obtain her degree in dental assisting, and she’s dedicated to expanding her knowledge in the field through continuing education. Away from the office, Julissa loves spending time with her family and appreciating music and sports. She also attends church and enjoys being part of a loving community. One fun fact about her: she has a Criminal Justice Police associate's degree, as she always found it fascinating to understand how detectives and law enforcement worked in solving crimes.
Dena, Dental Hygienist
Dena loves helping patients feel comfortable in the chair, ensuring they leave with a healthier, brighter smile after every visit. A graduate of the University of Bridgeport’s Fones School of Dental Hygiene, she has experience in preventive care, patient education, periodontal therapy, radiographs, laser therapy, and Zoom whitening. She regularly completes continuing education courses to stay current with new technologies and advancements in dental hygiene. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys exploring new places, watching sports, staying active through outdoor activities like hiking and golfing, and spending time with her fiancé and stepson.
