Now Hiring: Registered Dental Hygienist

Westchester Gentle Dentistry is currently seeking a full or part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our patient-centered, growth-oriented practice in Port Chester, NY.

This is an opportunity to work in a warm, professional environment that prioritizes both clinical excellence and personal connection. As our hygienist, you’ll be instrumental in helping patients maintain long-term oral health, identify additional treatment needs, and feel truly cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide thorough, gentle dental cleanings in accordance with current clinical standards
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
Identify and communicate potential treatment opportunities, including Invisalign
Accurately document clinical findings in Dentrix
Capture before-and-after smile photos to support treatment and build patient trust
Partner with our dental assistants and doctors to deliver seamless, collaborative care
Support hygiene recall and patient reactivation outreach when needed
Maintain a welcoming, calm chairside manner for patients of all ages

Qualifications:

Active New York State Dental Hygiene License
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on both efficiency and patient comfort
Comfortable with digital technology and open to learning
Invisalign experience or willingness to train preferred
Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required

Schedule and Compensation:

Full-time or part-time role
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
