PORT CHESTER, NY – May 26, 2026 – Westchester Gentle Dentistry is proud to celebrate the completion of the new “Greetings from Port Chester” mural located at 430 Westchester Avenue, a large-scale public art installation created in collaboration with Westchester Murals, local business sponsors, and Village of Port Chester leadership.
The mural, prominently displayed on the exterior of the Westchester Gentle Dentistry building, was designed to celebrate the identity, creativity, and growing momentum of the Port Chester community while transforming a highly visible intersection into a vibrant public landmark.
Featuring custom artwork inspired by local businesses, organizations, and community institutions, the mural reflects the collaborative spirit that continues to shape Port Chester’s revitalization and cultural identity.
“We wanted this mural to feel bigger than our office,” said Dr. Feryal Alidadi, founder and owner of Westchester Gentle Dentistry. “Port Chester has such an incredible sense of community, diversity, and energy, and we felt this was an opportunity to create something lasting that residents, families, and visitors could enjoy for years to come.”
The project was completed in partnership with Westchester Murals and supported by several local sponsors whose contributions helped bring the vision to life. Each letter within the mural highlights different organizations and businesses connected to the Port Chester community.
“At Westchester Gentle Dentistry, we’ve always believed that being part of a community means investing in it beyond the walls of our practice,” Dr. Alidadi added. “This mural represents pride in Port Chester and appreciation for the people and businesses that make this village so special.”
Village leadership also partnered closely on the initiative as part of ongoing beautification and placemaking efforts throughout downtown Port Chester.
The mural was painted by the team at Westchester Murals and is intended to serve as both a community landmark and a welcoming visual gateway along Westchester Avenue.
A public ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM outside 430 Westchester Avenue, featuring remarks from village leadership, sponsors, and the project team.
